Julia Roberts Responds to George Clooney's History Making Nominations  1/31/06

Roberts: "It's Wonderful To See George and Everyone Connected with 'Good Night, and Good Luck.' Recognized In This Way. I Could Not Be Happier For All Of Them."

BURBANK, Calif. - January 31, 2006- In an Access Hollywood exclusive, Julia Roberts responds to her good friend, George Clooney's history-making nominations at the 78th Annual Oscar(r) Nominations.

Clooney made Oscar(r) history this morning when he became the first person to receive a nomination in the Directing and in the Acting categories for different films in the same year. George's good friend and "Ocean's Twelve" co-star, Julia Roberts said, "It's wonderful to see George and everyone connected with 'Good Night, and Good Luck.' recognized in this way. I could not be happier for all of them."

The Oscar(r) winning actress adds, "'Woo hoo' for Reese Witherspoon" who received her first Oscar(r) nomination. She will be going head to head in the Best Actress category with fellow 2006 Golden Globe(r) winner, Felicity Huffman.
