Rapper Nelly has rubbished reports he is engaged to girlfriend Ashanti.

According to reports, the Hot Herre star popped the question over the Christmas holiday, three years after they began dating.

But a publicist for their label Universal Records tells AllHipHop.com the rumors are untrue - Nelly is too busy working on his forthcoming sixth album.
