Justin Timberlake Takes Mother to Alpha Dog Premiere  1/5/07

Pop star Justin Timberlake is fuelling rumors he has split with longtime girlfriend Cameron Diaz after attending the premiere of his new film with his mother as his date.

The singer showed up at the Los Angeles premiere of Alpha Dog on Wednesday (03JAN07) with his mother Lynn Harless at his side.

Media reports in the US claim the celebrity couple, who have dated since 2003, have split after spending the Christmas holiday apart, and Diaz was noticeably absent from any parties following the film's premiere.

Timberlake was also uncharacteristically quiet about his romantic relationship when he appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno earlier in the evening.

Unlike his last appearance on the show where he openly discussed Diaz, this time he failed to mention her once.

The 25-year-old singer didn't seem to be wasting any time moving on and met up with actress Scarlett Johansson at the film's after party where they chatted one-on-one for over an hour.
