Jordan Reveals Cause of Son's Burns  1/6/07

British model Katie Price's son Harvey was burned when he jumped into a bath and turned on the hot tap, she reveals.

Price - also known as Jordan - and husband Peter Andre have spent the last few days at the partially blind child's bedside at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after he was admitted following an undisclosed New Year's Eve (31DEC06) accident.

Price now explains the four-year-old scalded himself in the bathroom.

A statement from her management says, "It happened at the family home on Sunday afternoon when Harvey got in an empty bath with his clothes on and turned the hot tap, which scalded his right leg only.

"Harvey has been in hospital, with Peter and Katie by his bedside, since the accident and, because of Harvey's medical condition, he needs to be monitored very closely."

The child, whose father is soccer star Dwight Yorke, is expected to remain under medical supervision for the next few days.
