Rice to Appear on CW's Comedy Show "The Game"

JERRY RICE DRAFTED…..
TO APPEAR ON CW’S COMEDY, “THE GAME.”
LOS ANGELES, January 18, 2007 – Jerry Rice, one of the all-time
greatest receivers in the NFL, will make a guest appearance on the comedy
THE GAME, to air on Monday, February 5 (9:30-10:00PM ET/PT) on The CW.
Rice will play himself, a retired football star who meets up-and-coming
San Diego Sabers receiver, Derwin Davis (Pooch Hall), and encourages Davis
in his career as a young athlete.
With 20 seasons in the NFL, Rice is one of the most highly regarded
players in NFL history. Although he retired in 2005, Rice still holds
numerous NFL records, including most career receptions (1,549), most
receiving yards (22,895), total touchdowns (207), and touchdown receptions
(197). Rice also holds the record for most games ever played by an NFL
wide-receiver. In addition, he led the San
Francisco 49ers to three Super
Bowl wins, was selected for the Pro-Bowl 13 times, and was named the
NFL MVP twice. Rice played for the 49ers (1985-2000), the Oakland
Raiders (2001-2004), and the Seattle
Seahawks (2004).
