Salma Hayek's Dog Saves Her Life  1/18/07

Salma Hayek has her dog Diva to thank for saving her life hours before the Golden Globe Awards on Monday (15JAN07) after the pooch alerted her to a gas leak.

The actress was trying to sleep off a headache when Diva woke her up by grabbing at her sleeve - and attempted to get Hayek out of the house.

A groggy Hayek immediately smelled gas as fumes filled her home.

The day got much better for Hayek - Ugly Betty, the hit series she produces, claimed two Golden Globes, including Best Television Comedy.
