Six Feet Under Star Gives Birth  1/20/07

Six Feet Under actress Lauren Ambrose and husband Sam Handel welcomed their first child into the world on Tuesday (16JAN06).

The 28-year-old star, who played Claire Fisher in the show, gave birth to Orson Handel in New York City.

A friend of the couple tells People, "The family is very happy, the baby is happy and Lauren is doing great."
