Nick Lachey Rebuffed by Schoolmate Carmen Electra  1/23/07

Pop star Nick Lachey harbored a secret crush on Baywatch beauty Carmen Electra at school, hailing the actress "the subject of my boyhood affections".

Electra and Lachey both attended Cincinnati's School For Creative And Performing Arts, but Electra admits she can't recall Lachey from her former classroom days.

She tells the New York Daily News, "I don't actually remember him in school, because he's a couple of years younger than I am. It's so funny! (But) I'm really proud of him, and I always have to root for the hometown boys."

Despite Electra's high school put-down, Lachey is still full of praise for the actress.

He says, "She was always kind of the subject of many young boys' admiration when I was in school, and I was certainly one of those boys. She didn't become good looking late in life; she's always been good looking."
