Armed and Famous Show Cancelled  1/30/07

CBS's new reality series is officially a flop - it has been cancelled.

Armed & Famous tried and failed to compete with US TV phenomenon American Idol, prompting network bosses at CBS to pull it from their schedule, effective immediately.

In the show, cameras followed Jack Osbourne, Latoya Jackson and Erik Estrada as they attempted to become reserve police officers in Muncie, Indiana.

The reality series premiered to solid numbers earlier this month (JAN07) but viewers turned off when American Idol started its new season two weeks ago.
