Bam Margera: "My Marriage Won't Fall for MTV Curse"  1/30/07

Jackass star Bam Margera is convinced his upcoming televised marriage will not end in tears, despite the after-effects reality TV shows Til Death Us to Part Carmen & Dave, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica and Meet the Barkers had on their respective couples.

Margera will wed fiancée Missy Rothstein on MTV program Bam's Unholy Union, the first episode of which airs tonight (30JAN07).

However, the stuntman believes the fact Rothstein is not a celebrity bodes well.

He tells the New York Daily News, "When a celebrity and another celebrity try to make it work, it usually winds up in a divorce because they're too busy doing their own thing.

"Not to mention their 'thing' consists of frenching other people in movies. I don't care if you're an actor, people get jealous.

"Missy's just a girl from Pennsylvania who has no desire to be an actor."

Newlyweds stars Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson finalized their divorce in June 2006, Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro broke up in July 2006 and Meet The Barkers' Travis Barker split from wife Shanna Moakler in August 2006.
