their "makeover", MTV provides a coach who doubles as a mentor.
The premiere episode "Made: Boxer" airing on January 7th at 10pm
will feature Whitley, a ballet dancing girly girl who wants to stop
relying on her friends for everything and get tough by being MADE into a
hard hitting boxer.
A marathon of new "Made" episodes airing on January 12th from
11am -4pm (ET/PT) include "Made: Rapper", "Made: Ballerina,
"Made: Ballroom Dancer" "Made: Figure Skater",, and
"Made: Soap Star". Below are descriptions of the episodes that
are scheduled to air:

trombonist who wants to be MADE into a rapper and gain the respect of his
classmates. Watch as his hip-hop superstar coach, Talib Kweli tries to
take this no-name swordsman and make him into a hip-hop warrior just in
time for his Junior/Senior dance.
Made: Ballerina (12 Noon) - Sarah is a clumsy overachieving bookworm
who wants to prove there's more to her than brains. She wants to take
center stage and be MADE into a high kicking, toe pointing ballerina.
Sarah will be trained by renowned ballet dancer, Robert Sher-Machherndl,
who will literally keep her on her toes. Follow her journey as she goes
from super geek to swan- like chic.
Made: Ballroom Dancer (1 PM) Bryce, the class clown, wants to shed his
clumsy goofball reputation and be MADE into a ballroom dancer. Watch as he
tries to earn the respect of his peers as a class act by winning his
school's talent show.
Made: Figure Skater (2 PM) This episode features Jessica, the town
tomboy, who wants to get in touch with her feminine side. By getting MADE
into a graceful, girly figure skater, she hopes to get a date to her
Homecoming dance. But before she can dominate on the ice, Jessica will
have to overcome her impossible schedule, some grueling physical
challenges, and a bad attitude.
Made: Soap Star (3 PM) Erick, a seventeen year old from Pennsylvania,
is tired of feeling invisible. So he's decided he wants to be MADE into a
soap opera star to gain the celebrity he so feels he deserves. With soap
sensation, Jacob Young as his coach, Erick only has 5 weeks to learn the
ins and outs of being a daytime star in order to nail the once in a
lifetime opportunity to audition for All MY Children.
