Elisabeth Hasselbeck Returns to "The View" January 7  1/3/08

The countdown has officially begun... In just five days, Elisabeth Hasselbeck returns to "The View," bringing her conservative voice back to "Hot Topics" as the Emmy(r) Award-winning talk show debuts the first live show of 2008. Mrs. Hasselbeck left for maternity leave on Oct. 23, temporarily relocating to Arizona to join her husband, Tim Hasselbeck, who had just signed with the Arizona Cardinals. On Friday, Nov. 9, they welcomed their first son, Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck. Taylor is brother to big sister Grace Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

"The View" features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. Since its launch, "The View" has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show. The show has received numerous nominations, including ten consecutive nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
