Kelly
Osbourne Slams "Hypocritical" TV Rules
1/4/08
Reality TV star Kelly Osbourne has hit out at British television bosses
after they banned her from swearing.
The 23-year-old daughter of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy and music mogul
Sharon - who fronts Sky TV's reality fashion show Project Catwalk - is
sick of being told off for using bad language.
And she accuses producers of displaying double standards because they
allowed another TV judge to utter profanities on air last year (07).
Kelly says, "I had a strop with the producers because they would
not let me swear. It was so unfair because (fashion designer) Julien
MacDonald, one of the judges from last year, swore when he wanted and they
put it on air!"
The star topped off her tirade by admitting her most fulfilling job to
date was not on TV at all - but her role as agony aunt on BBC Radio One's
The Surgery.
She adds, "To be able to give young people the chance to talk
about their problems and get advice is really important."
