Britney Spears Assistant Denies Falling Out With Singer  1/10/08

Britney Spears' assistant Alli Sims has dismissed reports she's fallen out with the troubled pop superstar because she was in New York when her friend was hospitalized in Los Angeles last week (ends04Jan08).

Spears was involved in a dramatic stand-off with emergency services at her Beverly Hills, California mansion on 3 January (07) after refusing to hand over Jayden James and his brother Sean Preston to their father Kevin Federline. She was then admitted to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

But Sims insists she could never have predicted Spears' breakdown would coincide with her weekend away.

She tells Us Magazine, "These claims are ridiculous. I had plans for a girls weekend, and my friends had already flown into town to meet up with me.

"Yes, I continued with my plans that included going to dinner and a club. How was I to predict what would happen the weekend I was gone?

"As far as having a falling out with anyone, that is simply not true. I love Britney, and care way more about her well-being than any of these strangers making these claims."
