Benji Madden Denies Splitting With Fiancé Sophie Monk 1/9/08

Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden has laughed off reports he's split with his fiancée Sophie Monk.

The guitarist - whose brother is front man Joel - proposed to his Australian girlfriend last year (07) but the couple sparked rumors of a break-up after Monk returned to her native country alone after Christmas.

However, the musician's publicist has blasted the reports, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, releasing a statement saying, "Benji Madden and Sophie Monk are together and very happy."
