Cameron Diaz Changed Hair Color to Attract Men  1/9/08

Hollywood star Cameron Diaz is convinced "interesting and cooler" gentlemen prefer brunettes.

The Charlie's Angels actress famously ditched her trademark blonde locks for a dark brown shade in 2006 - and ended up attracting a different type of suitor.

Diaz, 35, explains, "I just wanted to try something different and see what kind of guys hit on me when I was a brunette as opposed to blonde.

"The guys who liked the dark hair were the cooler, more sensitive, interesting guys."
