"MOONLIGHT" WINS THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD FOR BEST NEW TV DRAMA

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 — The fans have spoken. MOONLIGHT was chosen by the people as this year's "Favorite New TV Drama" on last night's telecast of THE 34th ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS on the CBS Television Network.

Alex O'Loughlin, who plays Mick St. John, a captivating, charming and immortal private investigator from Los Angeles, accepted the award on behalf of the cast via video from Australia.

This year, fans logged over 10 million votes for their favorites by logging onto www.pcaVOTE.com. Three categories, Favorite New TV Comedy, Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite User-Generated Video, were still open for voting during the first hour of the telecast.

MOONLIGHT airs Fridays from 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
