Halle Berry to Play Golf for Charity  1/12/08

Pregnant actress Halle Berry will help raise money for a domestic violence charity with a round of golf.

The Catwoman star will hold a celebrity golf tournament at Mountain Gate Country Club in Los Angeles in April (08) with all funds going to the Jenesse Center, a programme providing support and shelter to those affected by the crime.

She says, "April 28, 2008 will be a day of great fun as we raise much needed funds to help families victimized by domestic violence.

"Working together we can stop the violence. I am looking forward to golfing with you. Let's have a great time."

And the charity is a cause close to Berry's heart - she once told of her relationship with her abusive father Jerome.
