Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie Go Into Labor  1/12/08

Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie both went into labor at Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Medical Center on Friday afternoon (11Jan08), according to U.S. reports.

The two stars, who once announced engagement news on the red carpet at the same Los Angeles event, now look to become first-time mums on the same day.

According to reports, socialite Richie went into labor first, with Aguilera going into delivery minutes later just yards away.

Both new mums were surrounded by family members as they gave birth.

Aguilera reportedly booked a caesarian section delivery at Cedars Sinai last month (Dec07), while Richie's is believed to be a natural birth.

The father of Aguilera's baby is her husband Jordan Bratman. Richie's boyfriend, rocker Joel Madden, is the other proud dad.

Richie and Madden have reportedly named their daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

No other details were available as WENN went to press, although Aguilera and Bratman, who enjoyed a last pre-baby night out at a club in Hollywood on Thursday night (10Jan08), are believed to be considering the names Jackson Jake and Max for their son.
