Halle Berry Plans Lavish Birth  1/14/08

Actress Halle Berry is so excited about the arrival of her first child, she is planning a lavish birthing session.

The 41-year-old, who is pregnant with model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's child, will spare no expense on the day the child is due - because she may only give birth once.

She says, "I may only do this one time, so I want the moment to be as big as it can be. I want the biggest bang I can imagine."

And the former Bond girl has another reason to look forward to greeting her unborn baby - she won't pick out a name until the child is born.

She adds: "I don't know how you name a baby until you meet it."

But the Monster's Ball star admits she is not yet ready to give birth - because she is enjoying her pregnancy so much: "Right now I have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go.

"My skin is aglow from all the hormones. I actually wear less make-up now, which is really good. I want to stay pregnant forever."
