Eva
Longoria: "I'm Right to Sue"
1/14/08
Actress Eva Longoria has spoken out for the first time since opting to
sue the bosses of a Los Angeles news agency for suggesting her new husband
cheated on her with a model he met at their wedding.
The Desperate Housewives star and basketball player Tony Parker fired
back at infidelity reports made public by X17online.com, dismissing claims
made by model.
Longoria admits it was difficult dealing with the reports and she feels
totally justified in taking legal action.
She says, "It's easy when things aren't true.
"This is the first time Tony and I have had to sue someone over
something. It was just so far-fetched and so false."
And she insists that far from being shaky, her six-month marriage to
the San Antonio Spurs star is getting stronger and stronger.
She says Frenchman Parker is more romantic now Longoria is his wife:
"He plans a lot of surprises. He's been planning my birthday, which
is in March, for the past six months. And he has our first year
anniversary gift already."
