Robert De Niro Lands Top German Award  1/24/08

Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro is set to be honored for his contribution to the entertainment industry - after landing Germany's top showbiz award.

The Goodfellas star will receive a lifetime achievement award at this year's (08) Golden Cameras in Berlin, which rewards excellence in film, music and television.

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue will also be honored at the event, after she was named best international music act.

Previous winners of the Golden Cameras include Cate Blanchett, George Clooney and Bruce Willis.
