Brad Pitt's Rep Brands Aussie Magazine "A Horrible Tabloid" 1/29/08

Brad Pitt's representative has blasted an Australian magazine for "making up stories" about the actor and his girlfriend Angelina Jolie after the publication claimed the couple was living apart following a "stream of angry arguments".

New Weekly magazine recently reported the Hollywood couple was "frustrated" by their "constant" fights, and had taken "the drastic step of moving to separate houses in a last-ditch attempt to save their troubled relationship".

The story quoted a "friend" of the couple as saying, "The plan is for the whole family to be together on the weekends, but to live apart during the week and shuttle the kids between the two homes."

But the Ocean's 13 star's spokeswoman, Cindy Guagenti, has slammed the publication and its falsehoods.

She tells TheCelebrityTruth.com, "New Weekly is a horrible tabloid that makes up stories to sell their magazine. They don't even bother to call people's representatives for a comment. It's really bad journalism."

Pitt and Jolie have four children together - adopted kids Maddox, six; Pax, four; Zahara, three; and biological daughter Shiloh, 19 months.
