Hogan Recalls "Nightmare" of Receiving Son's Crash News
1/28/08
Wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan has spoken of the moment he found out
his son Nick had been involved in a car crash - describing it as his
"worst nightmare".
Nick Bollea, 17, had his driving license suspended for a year in
November (07) after Florida officials deemed him a dangerous driver,
following an August (07) accident that left his friend John Graziano
needing nursing care for the rest of his life.
And Hogan shudders at the memory of receiving a phone call informing
him about the accident.
He says, "That is your worst nightmare as a parent, to hear
there's been a car wreck.
"Thank God, everything's getting better - Nick's doing OK, his
buddy John Graziano is getting better everyday. Thank God."
Last month (Dec08), Graziano's mother Debra revealed her 22-year-old
son is semi-conscious, can open his eyes, and he recently leaned away from
her when she tried to touch his face.
However, she said Graziano has still not spoken and can't breathe
without the help of a machine.
Meanwhile, Bollea has been charged with reckless driving involving
serious bodily injury and will be tried as an adult when his case reaches
court.
