Kylie Minogue Sick of Talking About Cancer  1/29/08

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue is pleading with people to stop quizzing her about her battle with breast cancer - because she's sick of discussing the gloomy topic.

The Spinning Around hit maker was diagnosed with the deadly disease in 2005 and is currently in remission.

But the singer insists she doesn't want to be seen as an expert on illness as she is no position to offer people advice.

She says, "I don't have a nice little phrase to summarize what that meant, or what it did, or how I've changed. I don't want to talk about it too much.

"I have some understanding of what other people might go through, but I don't have the answers. I am sure the day will come where I will be more forward about it. If I was one-on-one with a patient, I would share everything."
