Jude Law and Sadie Frost Reach Out of Court Settlement  7/2/05

British actor Jude Law and his ex-wife Sadie Frost have finally reached an out of court settlement - nearly two years after they divorced.

The Oscar-nominated heart-throb, 32, and fashion designer Frost, 38, have been disagreeing over their divorce settlement since they officially ended their six-year marriage in October 2003, on account of Law's admitted "unreasonable behavior".

The couple share custody of their three children - Rafferty, 8, Iris, 4, and Rudy, 2.

British newspaper Daily Mail reports the pair came to an agreement over the telephone, just three days after the case at London's High Court began.

Both Law and Frost have signed confidentiality agreements preventing them from discussing the deal, but it believed Frost is keeping their marital home in Primrose Hill, north London and will received monthly allowances and a lump sum from Law, totaling $3.6 million (#2 million).

A friend of Frost tells the Mail, "Sadie is pretty happy about the agreement

- they both are. The most important thing for her is that she has kept the house.

"She knows that she will be financially secure - although she will still have to work.

"Jude is relieved, too. Sadie had been trying to get a lot more money out of him. Both of them are now hoping to put this behind and get on with their lives with their new partners."

Law proposed to his Alfie co-star Sienna Miller last Christmas (DEC04), while Frost is dating flamenco guitarist Jackson Scott.
