Madonna Kept 'Far Away' From Mariah Carey 7/6/05

Madonna was desperate to stay away from Mariah Carey at the Live 8 concert in London, and ordered aides to keep a distance between the two. 

The pair were among a starstudded list of performers at the charity bash that included Sir Paul McCartney, U2, The Who and Pink Floyd. 

While Madonna was keen to mingle with most of the acts backstage - she couldn't bare to be close to the Honey hitmaker. 

According to PageSix.Com, she told an assistant, "Just let me know when she leaves her trailer, because that's when I'm outta here. I want to be kept as far away from her as possible."
