Scarlett Johansson had to plead with The Island director Michael Bay to let her appear topless in one early morning scene in the sci-fi action film.

Bay tried to cover up the sexy blonde, but she insisted on baring all.

She says, "I said, 'Women don't normally sleep in a bra. I can't wake up in this scene wearing a bra, it's ridiculous.'

"He said, 'What do you wanna wear?' I said, 'Well, nothing.'"
