Beyonce Knowles Slapped With Lawsuit Over Baby Boy 7/15/05

Beyonce Knowles is gearing up for a legal battle over her hit 2003 single Baby Boy.

A singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota claims, in a suit filed in Houston, Texas on Tuesday (12JUL05), that the track's lyrics and music hook were stolen from her song Got a Little Bit og Love For You.

According to MTV News, Jennifer Armour says her song made its way into Knowles' hands when Armour shopped the track around in March 2003.

A hearing in the copyright infringement suit has been scheduled for 28 October (05).
