Desperate Housewives Star Banned From Chatting About Gay DVD  7/20/05

Desperate Housewives star Ryan Carnes has been banned from talking to the press about his new gay scenes in racy movie Eating Out, because his aides fear he'll forever be type casted as a homosexual.

The blond hunk, who plays gardener John Rowland's gay pal Justin on the hit TV show, appears nude in one scene of the movie as he pretends to be a gay man to lure a woman into bed.

And his character takes part in a controversial 17-minute gay phone sex three-way.

Ed Baran, who is organizing publicity for the DVD release of the shocking film, says, "We have been told he won't be doing any publicity. He chatted about his role when the film came out theatrically but I don't believe Ryan is actually gay."
