"DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" CREATOR MARC CHERRY SAYS "DANCING
WITH THE STARS" WINNER KELLY MONACO COULD APPEAR ON SHOW
SHOW AIRS ON THURSDAY, JULY 21, 2005
BURBANK, Calif. - July 21, 2005 - In an interview with "Access
Hollywood's" Billy Bush, "Desperate Housewives" creator
Marc Cherry talks about the possibility of "Dancing With the
Stars" winner Kelly Monaco making an appearance on the hit ABC
dramedy. The interview airs on "Access Hollywood," Thursday,
July 21, 2005 (check local listings for time and station).
When Bush asked Cherry if he would be out of his mind to assume that
Monaco will appear on "Desperate Housewives," the producer
laughed and replied, "You would not be out of your mind."
Cherry says that Monaco caught his eye during her victorious run on
"Dancing With the Stars." "I thought she did an amazing job
dancing on that big finale," he said. "I think she's great. I
haven't started to think of how to fit her into Wisteria Lane, but she's
awfully talented..."
When "Access Hollywood's" Tony Potts asked Monaco about
appearing on the show, the "General Hospital" star played coy.
"We'll see," she said. "I can't say anything, I'm sworn to
secrecy."
"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rob K. Silverstein is the
executive producer. |
