Kate Hudson Admits Mother Knows Best  7/25/05

Screen beauty Kate Hudson credits her movie star mother Goldie Hawn with saving her marriage to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson. The Almost Famous actress was urged by Hawn to take time out from her blossoming Hollywood career in order to spend more quality time with the singer, and she admits it made all the difference to their partnership. 

She says, "She said it would be the best thing for our relationship. And as usual she was right. "A part of me feels I got so lucky with my husband because he's such a loyal, beautiful man, and not all men are. "I think some women should work a little harder. Men are still animals and you need to make them happy."
