Kylie Minogue Helps Tsunami Orphans  7/25/05

Kindhearted pop beauty Kylie Minogue is coming to the aid of tsunami orphans, while she continues to fight her battle against breast cancer.

The Australian singer has been in treatment for the disease since May (05), but managed to find the time to write a letter to the British High Commission in Sri Lanka - a country devastated by the December (04) tidal wave - asking for a young drama group to be granted entry visas to the United Kingdom (UK).

The youngsters star in a play about their survival from the horrific tragedy and are hoping to perform it at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland next week (begs01AUG05).

Kylie says, "I loved hearing the children's stories and I hope that people around the world will share my enthusiasm."
