Jesse Metcalfe Wants to Keep His Clothes On  7/30/05

Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse Metcalf has vowed his next role will require him to keep his clothes on, because he's scared of being typecast as "eye candy".

The 26-year-old actor spends much of his scenes in the hit TV show with his shirt off, and he says he's not too thrilled with the potential image his topless antics could earn him.

He says, "I'm leery of being typecast as eye candy. My next role will be a little deeper and won't require me to take my shirt off in every scene.

"I'm not complaining, but I want to have a long career."
