Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe has announced he's ready to give up his bachelor lifestyle - he's now on the lookout for his ideal woman to settle down with.

The 26-year-old actor, who recently fought off rumors he was dating American Pie star Tara Reid, is already worried about the prospect of becoming an ageing bachelor.

He says, "I'm getting older and tiring of the bachelor lifestyle. I'd like to meet a nice girl and leave all those (hottest) bachelor lists behind."
