Drew Barrymore Warns Lindsay Lohan About Hollywood Pitfalls  7/30/05

Reformed wild child Drew Barrymore has urged teen star Lindsay Lohan to look out for herself as she grows up in Hollywood and not "get sucked into the bulls**t".

The Charlie's Angel star was an alcoholic at the age of ten and in rehabilitation for cocaine addiction by the tender age of 13 and is concerned for Lohan.

Herbie Fully Loaded beauty Lohan, 19, has been a feature in the gossip columns for the past two years for her wild partying lifestyle - despite being under the legal drinking age of 21 - and her new skinny frame has also been the subject of eating disorder speculation, which Lohan denies.

Barrymore says, "I know what's it's like, but nowadays it is even worse.

"Whatever she wants to be and whatever she wants to do, she will choose that for herself. There are parts of this business that are real and there are parts that aren't. So I'd love to tell her to play by her own rules, but don't get sucked into the bulls**t.

"I respect the fact she's doing it under a microscope, but she has to remember that at the end of the day she is in control of her own destiny.

"I always think how I will affect others by what I do and these girls should do the same."
