Carmen Electra Gets Emotional  7/3/06

Carmen Electra was determined to make sure a partially blind 13-year-old was given star treatment on American Idol - but she struggled to keep her emotions in check.

Electra - real name Tara Leigh Patrick - set up the VIP viewing for Lucine Beshrian, who is losing her sight because of a brain tumor.

But the event was all the more poignant as it reminded Electra of the loss of her own mother, who also suffered a brain tumor. The busty actress has since set up a organization titled Head to Hollywood, for children who suffer from the condition.

She says, "Lucine really touched me. I found her to be happier and more positive then most people."
