Trump Turns Tinseltown Tycoon With The Apprentice Loser
7/7/06
Property tycoon Donald Trump is turning his hand to film-making by
adding a Hollywood production company to his business empire - and it'll
be run by a "fired" The Apprentice contestant.
Andy Litinsky appeared on the show in 2004 and impressed Trump with his
business acumen, despite losing out in the final rounds.
Now the corporate mogul plans to oversee Litinsky transform Trump's
popular boardgame Monopoly into a real estate television show.
Trump says, "He's a very talented guy, a very fine student from
Harvard, and he's going to be terrific. I have no doubt about it."
Trump already contributes to The Apprentice and the televised Miss USA
and Miss Universe pageants, but hopes the new company will allow him to
branch into news programs.
