Ne-Yo Signs Up to Help Britney Spears  7/11/06

R&B sensation Ne-Yo is helping Britney Spears stage her comeback but he insists it's her husband, Kevin Federline, who really needs songwriting help.

The So Sick singer, who has penned hits for Mario, Christina Milian and Chris Brown, has signed on to write tracks for Spears' upcoming album.

He says, "I've already cut one song for her."

But Ne-Yo, real name Shaffur Smith, feels Federline might want to call on his services.

The singer/songwriter quips, "I heard the first song that he put out (Popozao), so it's obvious that he does need a little help. We'll see what happens."
