Paris Hilton Thrilled by Former Flame's Fight  7/23/06

Paris Hilton has thanked a former flame, after he got arrested defending her honor at the soccer World Cup in Germany.

Australian singer Robert 'Millsy' Mills, with whom Hilton enjoyed a fling during her visit down under in 2003, punched a man in the face when he asked "filthy questions" about the socialite, following Australia's match against Brazil in Munich on 19 July (06).

He was charged with assault, but was later released with a caution after apologizing to the man he hit.

Hilton is impressed by Mills' chivalrous behavior: "That's sweet. I haven't seen him since Australia, but he's a sweetheart."
