Simon Cowell Denies Model Fling  7/28/06

American Idol and X Factor judge Simon Cowell has blasted claims he cheated on his long-term partner Terri-Seymour with a 21-year-old model, insisting they're just good friends.

A British newspaper yesterday (27JUL06) printed pictures of Jasmine Lennard - who appeared on UK TV reality show Make Me a Supermodel - leaving 46-year-old Cowell's London house after a late-night rendezvous, while Seymour was at the couple's home in Los Angeles.

The Daily Mirror alleges the pair have been dating in secret for six months, and Cowell even took Lennard and her mother Marilyn Galsworthy - a Bond girl in The Spy Who Loves Me - to the Royal Ascot horse racing event last month (JUN06).

However, acid-tongued Cowell slams the reports as ludicrous: "These stories come out, but Jasmine is just a friend. There were other people at the house too. Terri has absolutely nothing to worry about."

Lennard, who is currently dating club boss Mark Alexiou, adds, "It wasn't what it looked like.

"Simon is a good friend, we were discussing work. We have been friends for some time. Mark's not worried about this at all. He knows there is nothing going on."
