Hasselhoff Hits Back at Latest Rumors
7/30/06
David Hasselhoff insists his erratic behavior before boarding a flight
in London Wednesday (26JUL06) was caused by his new "bizarre"
medication.
British newspaper The Sun claimed the former Baywatch star was refused
entry to a British Airways flight in London because he was drunk.
Hasselhoff hit back at the claims on US entertainment show Extra,
explaining he was prescribed new pain medication for an arm injury on
Tuesday (25JUL06).
He claims he had a bad reaction to the painkillers after re-injuring
his arm and his behavior had nothing to do with drinking.
The 54-year-old star says, "I'm on a little bit of a bizarre
medication, but I'm OK. I hurt it a little bit more in London this last
trip, it's just got a little bit of an infection."
The star is back in the US and taped his reality series, America's Got
Talent, Thursday night (27JUL06).
He says, "Everything is great. I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to
be alive, I'm happy to be getting through all of my personal stuff."
According to British Airways workers, Hasselhoff told them he was upset
that his divorce from wife PAMELA BACH was becoming final that same
day.
Hasselhoff admitted on Extra that he couldn't help but watch an
interview the show did earlier in the week with his now ex-wife.
He added, "I did like the piece. I did. I have a heart, man!"
