Amazing Race's Reichen Lehmkuhl "Happier Than Ever"  7/30/06

Former 'N SYNC star Lance Bass' boyfriend, Reichen Lehmkuhl, insists the singer is happier than ever after going public about being gay.

The singer came out on the cover of American magazine People on Wednesday (26JUL06) and announced he was in a relationship with Lehmkuhl.

Lehmkuhl, who won US reality show The Amazing Race, tells Access Hollywood, "Lance is happier than he has ever been.

"It has been a long ride, and it's a huge relief. I couldn't be happier for him and I couldn't be more proud of him.

"I think it's always best in your career to be honest. He is going to have more support and more happiness and more freedom than he has ever had before.

"It's going to be a liberating experience. I guarantee it!"
