Doctor Who Chiefs Confirm Kylie Minogue Cameo  7/3/07

Producers on cult British sci-fi show Doctor Who have confirmed pop superstar Kylie Minogue will make a cameo appearance in a Christmas (07) special.

The Spinning Around singer, who shot to fame acting on Australian soap Neighbours, has been linked to the project for months, and executive producer Russell T Davies has finally acknowledged she will have "a major lead role" in the festive program.

He says, "This will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet."

Filming is scheduled to begin in Cardiff, Wales, later this month (Jul07).
