Newlywed Eva Longoria wasn't as generous to her wedding guests as believed - she didn't pay for their extravagant goody bags.

The Desperate Housewives actress and basketball ace husband Tony Parker gave those present at their nuptials bags containing $700 Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets and a stash of make-up - but the pair were given the luxury items for free.

An insider tells the New York Post's PageSix column, "They didn't purchase anything for their guests."

The couple wed in a civil ceremony in Paris last Friday (06Jul07), before celebrating their union in a religious service and a reception in the 17th century Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte the following day (07Jul07).
