Harry Potter Film Tops International Box Office  7/17/07

Harry Potter fever has gripped the world after the latest movie in the boy wizard franchise, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, debuted at the top of the international box-office chart.

The fifth Potter film, starring Daniel Radcliffe, took $190.3 million to land the number one spot in the chart, based on territories outside the U.S.

Transformers falls a position to second place with $35.9 million, while animated sequel Shrek The Third sits at three with $18.7 million.
