JK Rowling Urges Fans to Preserve Harry Potter Secrecy  7/20/07

J.K. Rowling has urged Harry Potter fans to "preserve the secrecy of the plot" in the last installment in the boy wizard series, after the book was alleged to have been leaked online.

Website TorrentFreak.com claims images of every single page of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are available on the file sharing network BitTorrent, just days before its release at one minute past midnight on 21 July (07).

But the author has made a plea to anyone in possession of the documents to refrain from releasing details of the storyline.

Posting on her website, she writes, "I'd like to ask everyone who calls themselves a Potter fan to help preserve the secrecy of the plot for all those who are looking forward to reading the book at the same time on publication day.

"In a very short time you will know everything!"
