Kate Hudson Slams Dax Shepard Rumors  7/27/07

Hollywood beauty Kate Hudson has laughed off reports she is dating U.S. comedian Dax Shepard.

Hudson has been single since splitting from her You, Me & Dupree co-star Owen Wilson in May (07) and is currently in the process of divorcing rocker husband Chris Robinson.

When the Almost Famous beauty and Shepard were spotted trying to leave a Malibu, California eatery earlier this month (Jul07), the Employee Of The Month funnyman removed his shirt in a bid to hide Hudson's face.

However, her representative insists the pair were dining with a group of people and their relationship is strictly platonic.

Her spokesperson says, "It wasn't a date. Just a group of friends having dinner and some fun."
