Hancock Flies In To Top International Box Office 7/7/08

Will Smith's superhero antics in Hancock has landed him at number one on the global box office chart.

The action film took $78.3 million (£39.15 million) over the weekend (04-06Jul08), leaving animated comedy Kung Fu Panda far behind in second place with $38 million (£19 million).

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is at number three with $24.3 million (£12.15 million), while former chart topper Wanted slips to number four with $18.8 million (£14.4 million) and Wall-E rounds out the top five with $13 million (£6.5 million).
