Dunn: 'My Fireworks Sent Nicole Kidman Into Labor' 7/8/08

Independence Day firework fun kick started Nicole Kidman's labor, according to her country singer pal Ronnie Dunn.

The Brooks & Dunn singer celebrated America's national holiday on Friday (04Jul08) with Kidman and her husband Keith Urban at his home in Nashville, Tennessee.

And Dunn is convinced the homemade fireworks he set off helped speed up the birth of baby Sunday, who was born early on Monday (07Jul08).

He says, "Nicole told me Friday night that she was hoping that my fireworks would do it. I'm overjoyed for them." Meanwhile, another of Urban's country music friends, LeAnn Rimes, has congratulated the couple on the birth of Sunday.

Nashville neighbour Rimes says, "Nicole and Keith are two of the most kind, caring people I know. I am thrilled for them."
